Where should we go?

Use the Whale entrances and take a Whale elevator to the 4th floor. You'll register for your visit at the Reception Center.

What happens during our first visit?

After you check in, you will need to fill out a medical history form. Interpreters assist you with this, if needed. Your child will receive an armband for identification and safety.

Next, you will go into an exam room where a nurse or medical assistant (MA) will take your child's height and weight and a brief health history.

Then, you will meet with one of our cardiologists (heart specialists) for a complete evaluation. You will spend 15 to 30 minutes with your cardiologist, who will review your child's and family's health history.

Your child will probably need to have an electrocardiogram (ECG) or an echocardiogram during a clinic visit.

What happens after the appointment?

Please stop at the Reception Center to schedule further tests or appointments.
