What's the best thing about working at Children's?

I love working with infants, children and teenagers and their families. Working in an outpatient setting, I am able to see these wonderful patients on a 'well' basis. It is a joy to see how they adapt their unique situation to everyday life!

What do you like most about the work you do in the Heart Center?

Working closely with my colleagues and all the cardiologists. It truly feels like I am part of a wonderful team providing care to cardiac patients and families.

What makes Children's Heart Center unique?

Our population is so special and diverse in every diagnosis. To be able to provide care for patients and families with their unique heart makes our specialty so important. I feel the families also see the tender and compassionate care we provide.

What made you want to come to Children's?

The patients. The pediatric field is our future and they need such special care from the start which allows for them to be healthy adults. I also feel they are the bravest and most resilient patients to work with.

What do people say when they find out you work here?

They are so proud of me and admire my compassion for this group of patients. They are grateful in many ways.
