The best thing about working at Children's is working with such a collegial clinical care and administrative support team. My coworkers excel at their disparate jobs and know how to have fun while doing so.

What do you like most about the work you do in the Heart Center?

The intellectual and organizational challenges of initiating, maintaining and completing research projects, and the sense that this work, when completed, has helped make the world a better place by contributing to the body of medical knowledge.

What makes Children's Heart Center unique?

The seamless way in which administrators, physicians, nurses, and other professional care staff work together towards the common goal of providing great cardiac care to kids.

What made you want to come to Children's?

I wanted to come to Children's because of the strong reputation of the hospital as well as the eminent cardiac surgery program in particular.

What do people say when they find out you work here?

People are always impressed to find out that I work at Children's. The hospital has an impeccable reputation, not only as a top-tier hospital in the realm of medical academia, but also in the community, as a hospital dedicated to serving the present and future needs of the children and their families in our area.
